Stay at Dhikala Forest Lodge

If you're looking for a truly unique experience, nothing beats spending the night at the Dhikala Forest Lodge within Jim Corbett National Park. Located just a short drive from the Dhangadi Gate, this lodge offers you a chance to immerse yourself in the heart of nature. Being run by the Forest Department, it requires booking well in advance, typically a month and a half before your visit. However, visitors from outside India can book 90 days in advance. Whether you're from India or abroad, a stay at Dhikala is a must for every wildlife enthusiast.

• You must provide details such as name, age, gender, ID proof (passport, PAN card, voter ID, or Aadhar card) along with a confirmatory deposit to complete the booking.
• Bookings for the dormitory or rooms are confirmed 90 days prior to your arrival.
• As local tour operators, we facilitate the booking process for forest rest houses and private resorts. Please note that we are not responsible for the quality of services at the forest rest houses operated by the Forest Department.

How to Reach Corbett

Ramnagar, located at the gateway to Corbett National Park, serves as the perfect entry point for your safari adventure. This small town is well connected by both road and rail to major cities such as Delhi, Moradabad, Nainital, and Bareilly. From Ramnagar, it only takes a short 30-minute drive to reach the park.

Ramnagar is easily accessible by road, with a direct highway link to Delhi and other nearby towns. The park is about 260 kilometers away from Delhi, and buses operated by the Uttarakhand state government run regularly from cities like Delhi, Moradabad, Haldwani, and Nainital, ensuring a smooth journey to the park.

The Ramnagar railway station connects to major cities like Delhi, Moradabad, and Bareilly. Direct trains such as the Ranikhet Express, Corbett Link Express, and Kathgodam Express are available, making it easy for travelers to reach Ramnagar.
